Marker drawing of reclining nude, signed and dated '74 lower left. Purchased from the artists studio. Sofia Kisselov was born in Cracow, Poland to a cosmopolitan Jewish family. Together with her brother she survived World War II and immigrated to Israel. Sofia studied painting and sculpture at the Cracow Art Academy and, after immigrating to Israel, continued at the Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem.
