SONG DYNASTY STONEWARE BLACK JAR

the jar with two handles formed as twisted rope, a cinched neck with a small round opening on top, against a black glazed ground with the raw stoneware visible around the foot rim; overall height: 22 cm (8 5/8 in.)

CONDITION
The jar appears in age-appropriate condition. Overall craquelure and rubbing visible to the naked eye, most notably to the black glazed portion. Rubbing to the opening at the top and handles. Endemic firing imperfections visible to the naked eye. Inspection under UV light shows surface dust and grime but no apparent signs of restoration.
