SOUTH ARABIAN ALABASTER HEAD OF A MAN

Ca. 300 - 100 BC. An alabaster male head with an oval face, large almond-shaped eyes, a long narrow nose and softly modelled lips. The ears are carved at the sides. Straight-cropped hair is marked by short incised lines. Accompanied by a modern custom-made display stand.
