A collection of 44 photographs of war in South East Asia. India: C. 1942-45. 44 "press" photographs, a few with penciled numbers on verso. each 250 x 300 mm. The images including front line action shots in the Jungle, commanding officers at a medal award ceremony, the Japanese surrender negotiations in Rangoon, parachute drops, Ledo Road, British and Gurkha troop movements, and several of naval engagements and troop landings.
