SPANISH AMERICAN WAR 45 STAR PARADE FLAG

Spanish American War era original 45 star flag printed on muslin. Colors are still vibrant and the flag is in overall very good condition. There is some damage on the hoist end, most likely occurring when it was hung as a banner or removed from the flagstaff to which it was affixed. This flag measures 12" x 21” and is displayed in a 20" x 26" frame. The 45 star flag was adopted July 4, 1896 after Utah became a state and was the official flag until July 4, 1908 after Oklahoma's admission to the United States. Three Presidents served under this flag including Grover Cleveland, William McKinley, and Theodore Roosevelt. In-house shipping is available.
