SS dagger with scabbard, 9 in. blade and 13.5 in. overall. The ebony grip bears a few hairline cracks and some chipping at the top above the enameled SS button. The grip also sits a bit loose between the pommel and the crossguard. The German national eagle and swastika is in fine condition and remains perfectly in place. Regrettably, the crossguard itself is also loose allowing for unwanted movement of the blade. The SS motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue' is oxidized throughout the blade. On the reverse ricasso is the maker mark for J.A. Henckels Solingen, and it is further marked ‘RZM 15/38 SS'. Housed with a black scabbard with a single suspension ring, some chipping to the paint throughout. A proper example, though in rough shape.
