STAINED GLASS WINDOW WITH WHISKY THEME
Circa 1900-1930 Leaded Stained Glass Window with central panel depicting what is probably Friar John Cor, who is credited with inventing whisky in 1494 at Lindores Abbey in Newburgh, Fife, under the reign of King James I of Scotland. The monk is depicted in front of a servant who is tapping a keg when his master has his back turned, in later oak frame, 40" x 28" x 1 1/2". Good condition, no cracks or losses.
