[STALIN MILITARY AWARD]: An attractive and colourful Russian military award, one page, 4to, n.p., 16th January 1945, to Izyumtsev Timofey Nikitovich, in Cyrillic. The printed award bears to the heading a portrait of Stalin, and features at the base an attractive printed drawing showing Russian soldiers, and the symbols of the red star Soviet flag and the hammer and sickle. The document states ''By order of the Supreme Commander-in-chief, Marshal of the Soviet Union comrade Stalin, dated 16th January 1945, you are commended for your excellent military actions in the breakthrough of the enemy´s defence in depth of the Eastern shore of the Vistula river, south of Warsaw''. Signed at the base by Unit Commander Asmetov of the Guards Rifle Regiment. The title award shows also a Russian ink stamp of the Guards Rifle Regiment to the front.
