STAMPED "J. EBERLY & CO / STRASBURG, VA", SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA EARTHENWARE / REDWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, lead- and manganese-glaze over a slip wash, comprising a covered bean pot having partial "1 1/2" gallon capacity mark and a batter pitcher with "1" gallon capacity mark, each semi-ovoid form with galleried rim and strap handle. Pottery of Jacob Eberly (1830-1908) and Daniel Letcher Eberly (1859-1919), Strasburg, VA. 1892-1903.
Condition: Each having glaze flakes/wear to rim, pitcher with glaze flakes to inner rim, cover with glued chip to edge.
Size: 8" H, 5 1/2" rim and 9 1/2" HOA, 5 3/4" D rim.
