STAMPED "ROCKBRIDGE", ROCKBRIDGE, CO., SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA DECORATED JAR, salt-glazed, approximately one-gallon capacity, tall ovoid form with everted rim, two incised neck rings, and tab handles. Brushed cobalt drape decoration on unmarked side, additional cobalt highlighting stamp. Attributed to John Morgan's Bustle-Firebaugh Pottery or the Rockbridge Baths Pottery. 1830-1850. 10 1/2" H, 5" D rim.
