Very attractive, large format share with an impressive design showing an allegorical lady and a man with a hammer as well as the entrance of a mine, with the title 'MensAgitat Molem' (The mind moves matter). Also symbols of freemasonry. Printed on thick paper. Company founded 1905 through the issue of 300 shares, of which we offer the low number 3. The company owned the granite mining company Wunsiedel and granite quarries at Kösteine and at the Großer Kornberg in the Fichtel Mountains, all in northeastern Bavaria. The company produced cut stones, monuments, flooring material, stair surfacing, acid vats, as well as technical stones. It was one of the largest German stone companies, operating 80 cylindrical grinders and 24 granite saws. Renamed Andreas Reulsen. AG in 1926 and simply Reul AG in 1948. Became part of Heidelberger Zement in 1986. Extremely rare.
