SERIAL 16187. BARREL 30". CALIBER .44. This rifle features a full octagon barrel with no sight cut for rear barrel sight. Has globe front sight and Stevens long range adjustable tang sight. Caliber is not marked but bore measures .44 so will need to be chamber cast. Ejector is missing. No visible barrel stamps. Frame, trigger guard and swiss butt plate are factory nickel plated with walnut butt stock. Barrel is dark patina. The nickel plated parts retain about 75-80% original finish with areas of dark patina. The rifling is strong but there are areas of abrasion. The sights alone are quite collectible. A
