Watercolour and bodycolour on vellum, chased gilt-metal frame, ribbon tie surmount;
bears inscription on the backing, partly legible: Miniaturiste...l'..../ Joris Hoefnagel portraitiste et miniaturiste/ né à antwerp en 1545 et mort à Vienna en 1600/ .........
80 by 115 mm; 3⅛ by 4½ in

Condition Report:
Overall good, some crazing of the surface leading to minor losses, for example, to the left of green plaster on left and on pink apron and yellow dress of central figure and ground around red draped table.
