A stunning Lapis lazuli scarab amulet. The topside displays characteristic insectile features, such as a miniscule head, thin folded legs underneath a large body and two dome-shaped wings. On the reverse there are hieroglyphic inscriptions. For similar see: MET Museum Accession Number: 22.3.64.
