Style of Nicholaes Pietersz Berchem (Dutch / Italian, 1620-1683), oil on canvas, apparently unsigned. 19th century or earlier landscape painting with capriccio ruins and artifacts, a waterfall and a man traveling with his donkeys.Approx: 25" x 32" (canvas), 30" x 36.25" (frame).
Condition Report: Canvas appears to have been cut down and laid to a later canvas, leveled craquelure present to surface. Under black light examination: Scattered areas of overpaint and hazy green varnish layer present.
