SERIAL NUMBER 1452221 BARREL 5" CALIBER .45 ACP MANUAFCTURED 1943. Stunning Ithaca 1911-A1 pistol with parkerized finish with brown checkered Keyes pattern grips. Stamped checkered short trigger narrow grooved hammer with grooved arched mainspring housing, grooved safety and slide release. Blue finished H.S. (High Standard) barrel with a WW2 era blue finished magazine marked "S". Frank J Atwood inspected with "P" proof next to magazine release and "P" proof inspected forward of rear sight. Slide marked with 2 Line Ithaca address. Bright polished feed ramp and bright Ordnance wheel marking on frame. CONDITION. Extremely fine with most all finish. Bore is excellent, Action operates properly. Extremely fine overall Comes with small box of FA 42 dated ball ammunition and is housed in contemporary cardboard box. C&R
