CIRCA 1890 AND 1869

• Movement: nickel finished bar keyless movement, lever escapement, compensated balance, polished hammers striking on a gong
• Dial: white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and outer five-minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6, gilt fancy hands
• Case: plain 14ct gold case and cuvette, slide repeat and hand setting button in the band
• Together with: 18ct gold hunting cased keyless lever watch signed E. Howard, Boston

Condition Report:
Swiss -
Movement: running at the time of cataloguing but the repeat is not activating via the slide button
Dial: with hairlines between 7 and the subsidary dial, and also radiating from the hands which are unmatched
Case: in fair overall condition with no dents. Marked with museum inventory number

Movement: not running, balance not rotating
Dial: large chip and cracks next to the subsidiary seconds. Sepia photograph is lifting away from the dial. Some rust to the hands
Case: scratches throughout, indentation to the cover in the centre.
