gilded full plate movement, verge escapement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, repeating on coiled gongs, white enamel chapter ring, Arabic numerals, skeletonised background with jacquemarts holding hammers for striking, automaton goat on a blued steel background which nods its head when the plunger is depressed, later gilt-metal case, gilt cuvette, ribbed band

Condition Report:
Movement: running at the time of cataloguing. Strike mechanism is not working.
Dial: multiple cracks to the chapter ring, later hands, classical figure not movement. The goat nods its head when the repeat plunger is depressed, signs of repair work.
Case: scuffed and tarnished throughout, stamped G.D with I above, no. 3558
