SWISS LEVER-WIND INTERCHANGEABLE-CYLINDER MUSIC BOX, rectangular mahogany-veneered inlaid case with a lyre on the top and "Alexandra" on the front, inside crank, comb with 55 teeth, three bells with ball strikers, and eight interchangeable cylinders, all enclosed under glass. Fourth quarter 19th century. 8 1/2" HOA, 21 1/4" x 11 1/2" OA.

Condition

Good overall condition, the case with moderate surface wear and a large shrinkage crack to the lid with some losses to the veneers and inlay. All teeth intact. Currently in working condition (see Catalogue Guarantee).
