Obverse: The field is entirely covered with a repeating pattern of small Swiss crosses. In the center, against a
smooth background that follows the geographical contours of Switzerland, are the four names of the country in the
national languages (“SUISSE / SCHWEIZ / SVIZZERA / SVIZRA”) arranged in four lines. Above
the map are silhouettes of the three Confederates taking the oath. The Valcambi hallmark is visible in
the lower part of the map.
Reverse: The inscription “1 / SILBER / UNZE / 2001” on four lines in the center, surrounded by a
wreath of oak branches and alpine flowers, tied with a ribbon at the base.
Gross weight: 31.10 g.
Metal and fineness: 999 silver.
