Iron hilt, original spherical pommel from ca. 1550, the entire surface is decorated with a finely carved bead pattern, flat rivet head. Octagonal quillons. Large knuckle guard. Large thumb guard. Leather-covered wooden grip. Double-edged blade (L 102 cm), ricasso.

This extraordinarily rare "Renaissance pommel" from ca. 1550 was carefully handcrafted and "congenially" completed into a sword in the 19th century.
