Saab - Sonett III 1500 - 1970

This beautiful and unusual Saab Sonett III dates from 1970 and was imported from California a few years ago, where it was bought from the first owner. It is a very original, early unit. And it still has most of the original lacquer. Technically the car has been completely addressed, the engine has been rebuilt and the cylinder heads have been adjusted for a little more power. A completely new, original exhaust system has been mounted. New Vredestein Classic tyres, new brakes, a new carburettor, new bearings, new radiator, new starter motor etcetera, etcetera. The car drives perfectly, is fast, brakes and steers great. In short: a pleasure to drive. The interior has been reupholstered, the windscreen is new, in other words, everything has been addressed. While respecting originality, so everything has been kept original as much as possible. The front has been resprayed, the rest was left alone and shows nice patina and slight traces of wear. The bottom is perfect and original / never welded. An extraordinary copy, a lot of money and effort invested. Will be delivered with the old California title (pink slip) and an import document.
