Sabbadini traces its roots to 1940s Milan, when diamond importer Alberto Esquenazi partnered with his son-in-law, Bruno Sabbadini, to trade exceptional gemstones. In 1967, Bruno's son, Alberto Sabbadini, took over the business and transformed it from a gemstone trading company into a luxury jewelry house, while maintaining a focus on the finest diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and sapphires.
