Sabino - 1930 Art Deco lamp France

MARIUS SABINO A very rare French art deco table lamp around 1935. Done in nickel plated brass it holds a large shade in frosted and locally hand polished moulded-pressed glass by the famous glass factory of Marius Sabino. An uncommon and hard to find model. The shade exists in two sizes. This is the smaller one with a diameter of 16,6 cm. These Sabino snail shell shades are never signed. The base is signed "Sabino Paris made in France" with the usual stamps the Sabino workshop used for its brass and bronze hardware. The lamp has a height of 22,5 cm. It's in very good condition. Almost no wear to the original nickel plating. Two unimportant chips at the bottom of the rim. The lamp comes rewired with a European E14 sockets so you will have no difficulties finding suitable electrical bulbs for it. One bulb will be added to the parcel. For the US or Japan I will place an American candelabra base socket and US 2-prong plug.
