Sabino, Paris - Marius Ernest Sabino - Figurine - birds - Glass
Two birds on a tree branch
Design by Marius Ernest Sabino.
He was an Italian born in Paris who lived between 1878 and 1961.
In the 1920s, Sabino devised a chemical formula that created a sublime blue semi-transparent opalescent glass that took the world by storm.
In a dim light it looks like the ice of a glacier. The colors are deeper depending on the incidence of light and intensity. A true spectacle of color.
