Sadao Watanabe (Japanese, 1913 - 1996)

Three stencil prints including: "Borrowing the Donkey", 1968, 11½" x 9" sheet; "Elijah Fed by the Raven", 1979, 12¼" x 9" sheet; and "Road to Emmaus", 1993, 11¾" x 9" sheet; each stamp signed and dated in pencil lower margins. Provenance: private collection, Pittsburgh, PA; acquired from Kanda's Art Gallery Contemporary Japanese Prints & Custom Framing, in Tokyo, in 2002-2003.

Condition: Good, mounting tape remnants, stabilizing backing paper to each.
