[ translate ]

Elegant and refined pair of salt cellars, from the Art Nouveau period, in silver-plated metal, (in doubt due to the absence of hallmarks) , accompanied by its interior linings (star-cut crystal glasses) as well as their original small spoons
- Circa 1880

This pretty pair of salt cellars presents an elegant decoration of lianas, agapanthus and roses in garlands, typical of a Louis XVI period style re-visited during the Art Nouveau period. and whose pieces of goldwork adorned the large tables at meals for the state nobility in Louveciennes, Marly and Versailles.

The line as a whole is refined and timelessly beautiful.
These are rare and difficult to find pieces, more accessible than those that can sometimes be found, similar but in silver.
The interior crystal containers are in perfect condition.

Total gross weight is approx. 85g for the whole.
