Salt cellar (2) - .950 silver, Crystal
Pair of Louis XVI style salt cellars / salt shakers, late 19th century or early 20th century. Beautiful model richly decorated with garlands of flowers, row of pearls, fluted balusters, a cartouche engraved with an ET monogram.
The spoons are also in solid silver, spoon in slightly attenuated vermeil.
Our salt cellars come with their original cobalt blue Baccarat crystal glass.
Each salt cellar bears: the Minerva 1st title hallmark (. 950 / 1000) and a goldsmith's hallmark not yet identified.
They are in good general condition: some defects in the decoration on the flower garlands; the model is rich and very decorative. No shine on the glasses (micro chips on the edges, barely perceptible to the eye and impossible to show in photos) .
