Set of two antique German Medieval style architectural salvage leaded stained glass window from a castle. Hexagonal clear and light yellow glass pieces are mounted together with pink and sea foam green glass rectangle pieces around the borders. The window is mounted in a metal frame with a small handle on one side and hinges on the other. No apparent maker's mark. Provenance: This item originated from a distinguished auction event hosted by Sotheby's in October 1995, designated as LOT 3647 at the Neues Schloss (New Castle), Baden-Baden, Germany. It was a part of the royal collection belonging to Margrave Max von Baden (1933-2022), a prominent figure in European aristocracy and the first cousin of Prince Charles III.
