The work has never been framed, it’s numbered and signed with felt-tip pen by the master due to the uncommon thickness of the base, a reflective silver panel. “Odalisca allo specchio”, 50 x 70 cm at the very edge. Salvatore Fiume is part of that generation of artists such as: Renato Guttuso, Giuseppe Migneco, Emilio Greco, Aligi Sassu, Domenico Cantatore, who gave prestige to the great Italian figurative art. His works are kept in some of the most important museums in the world such as the Vatican Museums, the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Puškin Museum in Moscow, and the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Milan.
