Condition Report:
The canvas is constructed from three pieces assembled together on the reverse with masking tape. The process is original. Close inspection reveals usual dust on the crevices. The cream pigment has slightly yellowed with age. Extremely close inspection reveals webs of stable, dried craquelures, mainly visible in the white impasto and towards the right outer edge of the canvas. The impasto is rich and well-preserved. Under ultraviolet light examination there is no evidence of retouching. This work is in good condition overall.
