Hardcover with original embossed cloth boards and gilt lettering. A single octavo-size volume. Complete with a large fold-out engraved map of the Oregon territory. Reverend Parker was the first Presbyterian missionary in what would later become Oregon. According to a preface, the fourth edition of Journal of an Exploring Tour expounds upon and corrects the mistakes of earlier editions. The inside cover bears the bookplate of William D. Fenton (Oregon, 1853-1925).

Measures 8" x 5 1/4" x 1 1/4".
Condition Report: Good condition. The cover has a mildly rubbed/worn patina, and the binding remains in great shape. There is a little bit of foxing throughout, including a fair amount of foxing to the map and title page. Mild toning.
