Female bust made in glazed and glazed earthenware. The artistic ceramics factory Essevi was founded in 1934 by the painter, ceramist and designer Sandro Vacchetti in collaboration with the Turin ceramist Nello Franchini, both former employees of the ceramics manufacturer Lenci of Turin. Essevi's production closely continues the Lenci aesthetic, of which Vacchetti was artistic director from its founding until 1933.
