This exceptional giclée showcases the preliminary film poster created by Sanjulian around 1980 as a commission for George Lucas' film "STAR WARS: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back".

Sanjulian received a commission from George Lucas to create the movie poster for his upcoming film "STAR WARS: The Empire Strikes Back" and Sanjulian created this preliminary from just some pictures of "Gonna with the Wind" and characters studio preliminary set of photos. Sanjulian composed this poster for George Lucas who used it as a reference for the final poster, finally painted by artist Roger Kastel.

This exclusive artwork by Sanjulian, which faithfully captures the essence of the original oil painting, was prominently exhibited at the C. C. Okendo (Spain) in 2021. It was subsequently provided directly by the artist himself and Hand Signed.
