Sansui 7000 Solid State AM/FM Stereo Receiver. . \r
\r
A very rare and beautiful Sansui 7000 from the early 1970s in excellent clean and original condition. \r
\r
I personally serviced this unit prior to listing. The PC boards have been cleaned and de-oxidized, pots and switches have been greased & lubricated, all light bulbs have been replaced with (original filament bulbs - not cheap modern LEDs) , the moving parts/cogs of the tuning capacitor has also been lubricated. Overall the unit is in excellent cosmetic condition and works correctly. \r
\r
I am a Vintage Audio Hi. Fi enthusiast and carry out service, repairs / refurbishment to vintage iconic Hi. Fi, I only acquire and work with quality units that have been cared for. My passion started back in the late 70s / early 80s when I worked in Hi. Fi outlets located on the famous retail Hi-Fi street at (Tottenham Court Road - London) and have had a passion for vintage Audio Hi. Fi ever since. The unit will have a easily removable security sticker applied to it. \r
\r
The unit is a real treasure in such excellent condition with exception to some light scratches on the "treble control knob" seen in the pictures and the "FM Muting" tab is missing but is obtainable from on-line , the wooden case is in beautiful condition as so is the fascia. The internals look new reflecting that this was a highly cared for and looked after unit that shows very little sign of use considering it was manufactured around 1974. \r
The quality and craftmanship of this unit is a statement to Audio equipment of this era which is unmatched and unfound in equipment manufactured today. A rare find and a real powerful beauty. \r
