Taitao 1
Lamp
Wheel-thrown terracotta, glazed with a mixture of liquid porcelain and ground oak leaves.
Finished with natural oils.
Dimmable, battery-powered GU10 bulb with adjustable brightness.
One-of-a-kind piece.
H27 L17 cm
The first piece in the Taitao series, this model features a taller, more tapered silhouette than its variants. The reflector sits atop the base like a hat and directs the light toward the table, creating an intimate pool of light. The surface, enriched with crushed oak leaves mixed into the slip, bears the imprint of the plant material transformed during firing. This exploration of a material derived from a natural cycle—harvested by the ceramicist himself—gives each lamp in the series a unique character.
