\Artist: Santicri (1992)
Technique: Resin and marble dust ,acciaio, acrilico\Signature: Hand signed
Artist: Santicri. Technique: resin, marble dust, steel, acrylics. Size: 50 x 34 x 10 cm. Condition: new. Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed. Year: 2022. This ironic and at the same time provocative sculpture represents a unicorn. It’s typically depicted as a white horse endowed with magical powers, with a single spiral long horn on the forehead to symbolise the penetration of the divine into the creature. In this case the artist distorted the imagination with the statue of a real horse and a katana that penetrates its forehead, from which a rainbow of colours emerges. This Italian artist was born in 1992 in Macerata, in the Marches. His career, with studies as a surveyor and in architecture, led him to work with an artisan of resin sculptures. Hence his always stronger need to find himself and give vent to his creativity. His works have been sold all over the world, in collaboration with galleries in Italy and Europe. “It’s never easy to put a label on one’s own art. I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of seeing what surrounds me, reinterpreted with an eye-catching and unforgettable contemporary design”. His works are comparable to the following artists: Banksy, Fairey (Obey) , Kaws, Invader, Dolk, Martin Whatson, Mr Brainwash, Koons, Ben Frost, C215, JR, Swoon, Felipe Pantone, Denial, Basquiat, Lichtenstein, M. Chat, Sandra Chevrier, André Saraiva, Imbue, Jon. One, Bordalo, Peeta, Hirst, Warhol, and Murmure.
