The silver-topped pink gold mounting in very good condition. Stamped 750 for 18 karat (pink) gold. Sapphire weight stated in catalogue description approximated using measurements. The sapphire is medium- light violetish blue with minor to moderate color zoning; the body of the sapphire slightly included with a small round cavity to the pavilion. The 32 diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 0.50 carat, are near-colorless and approximately SI-I clarity; two bearing chips, seen under magnification. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 49701 stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.
