Condition Report:
Accompanied by GRS report no. GRS2017-097071, stating that the cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 8.00 carats, measuring 11.86 x 9.94 x 7.42mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indication of thermal heating, deep royal blue colour.

French assay mark for platinum, Inscribed 14 Septembre and Septembre 1947. Sapphire with typical inclusions, one cavity below the girdle, minor abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively. Minor scratches to the mount consistent with age and wear. Gross weight approximately 5 grams.
