Satin Glass Bird on Nest Covered Dish
Height: 6 inches Diameter: 4.75 inches. A two-piece decorative covered dish crafted from translucent green frosted glass, commonly referred to as satin glass. The lid is modeled in the form of a songbird with textured plumage and wings. The base is shaped as a woven bird's nest with integrated leaf and twig motifs, supported by a pedestal base fashioned into three gnarled tree roots or branches. The interior of both pieces features a smooth finish, while the exterior exhibits a matte, acid-etched texture. On the underside of one root-form foot, there is a small, molded circular mark that is not legible.
