A lovely antique Chinese porcelain deep moulded large saucer with a central decoration of a kingfisher on bamboo near chrysanthemum, peonies and pierced rock in a landscape, executed in nice overglaze famille verte enamels, yellow, green, red and black. In the border a classical decoration of pomegranates, geometrical and floral patterns. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1690) . Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Diameter: 21,6 centimeter Provenance: very old private Dutch estate, The Hague area. This piece is such a remarkable good quality because it was covered in a thick layer of nicotine for centuries. Condition: The object is in very good (mint) condition, without any damages or restorations, just some minute glaze fritting.
