Scarce Heddon Model 3-24 German Silver Reel

Marked on the head plate "Made By James Heddon's Sons, Dowagiac, Mich.- 3-24", this German silver casting reel was introduced along with the models 3-15 and 3-30 in 1920. Having a polished finish, this Heddon casting reel is the least common of those three models. An Ex condition example, fitted with front mounted click switch, sliding oil port and finely knurled head plate, assigned serial number #110, marked on the tail plate inside the two foot pillars. Comes with a Heddon Dowagiac leather reel case.
