Scarce High-Grade The Doors Shrine Handbill

Offered in this lot is one of the most popular and difficult to find handbills for The Doors. These date from December 1967 and the shows took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. According to “Doors on the Road,” the show on the second night lasted all of half an hour before being shut down by the police. These handbills rarely show up, and this is the first one we have offered since our Spring 2018 auction.

Condition: Very Fine. Displays a strip of clear tape on the top and bottom edges, plus a light tape pull on the back, and some moderate handling.
