Scarce Meek No. 44 Trout Reel
The third and final version of the famous Meek model No. 44, this nickel silver 2 1/4" diameter, 1" wide spool reel features a raised rear click housing and plain click switch. Similar to the second model, this third version has a straight counter balanced handle and ivory grasp. Marked with serial No. 3269, this example is in Ex- unpolished condition with screw off end cap and crisp sounding click, with screw heads that show very little use.
