Scarce Original Certified BG-205 Grateful Dead Poster
Considered by many to be one of Singer’s finer works, this image warns of the danger of drugs. The message was that drugs could literally swallow a person in the way the man in the image was being obliterated by the red capsules. The concert is particularly memorable because Bill Graham, who was not a drug user, was clandestinely dosed by the Dead and ended up playing percussion on stage for three hours. This poster was printed twice. This piece is from the original, pre-show printing.
Medium: A Buyers Premium of 15% will be added to the hammer price of all lots.
