Scarce Signed BG-152 Grateful Dead New Year’s Poster

This great-looking Lee Conklin poster was used for the annual Bill Graham New Year’s party featuring perennial performers Grateful Dead, Santana, and Quicksilver Messenger Service. The central image is composed of intertwined bodies, bare breasts, and a baby emerging from the skull. This poster is nearly impossible to find in top condition. The ink and paper used did not work well together—the ink simply did not stay on the paper, giving a “used” look to most of the ones we see (as well as the companion poster that was printed on the same sheet, BG-153). This poster is in wonderful condition with less of the normal ink wear than we usually see.
