Large wall map on rods enlarged from S.E. Morse's school geography map surrounded with six wood engraved vignettes of historical battles and events in the state's history. These are, with text, Battle of Bennington; Col. Allen demanding the surrender of Ticonderoga; State-House Montpelier, Vermont; Indian Treaty, 1650; N.H. militia capturing the fort at Portsmouth 1774; State-House Concord, N.H. Inexpensive schoolroom map on paper, it has been newly restored and laid down on linen backing. A number of tears expertly repaired. Ephemeral.
