Winter scene from Japanese mythology. A samurai with a sword belted around his waist aims his rifle at two female figures. Directly in front of him, on the middle sheet, one flies barefoot through the snowy landscape, while on the right sheet a traveler in a grey kimono with a large stretcher on her back observes the scene. All this in heavy snowfall
