Schmidt Haensch Brass Saccharimeter 8382
Saccharimeter made by Schmidt and Haensch of Berlin, Germany, c. 1910, brass components and black metal body, marked item No. 8382, 24 inches, manufacturer's label and original paper slip present, includes 3 glass observation tubes of various heights, the original wooden box, a Franz Schmidt and Haensch catalog from 1911 and two empty tubes of filaments made by DEGEA (Deutsche Gasglühlicht Aktiengesel Zellsaft), however, the original stand and key to lock the box are missing.
