Condition Report: Craquelure, unevenness of varnish layer, darkening of the varnish layer and a layer of surface dirt. Difficult for UV light to completely penetrate the varnish layer, but evidence of several campaigns of restoration. Inpainting repairs to old craquelure, background, hat, hands, clothing and old cleavage/craquelure to the left in the background. Frame with minor nicks, marks and abrasions.
